Two of the top drawing cards, former 100m world record holder Asafa Powell and 100m hurdles world champion Brigitte Foster-Hylton, did not run as the meet started well behind its scheduled start time and was delayed throughout with several heats.
On the track, Earl Lee of Calabar topped the boys' Class One 200m in 22.23 ahead of Kingston College's (KC) Jovan Spencer (22.28), while Wolmer's Odeen Skeen (22.16) won the Class Two 200m. Kevaun Rattray of St Jago took Class Three equivalent in 23.66, running in a negative 4.7 m/s wind.
