Trecia-Kaye Smith was only able to produce one legal jump of the five that she took in the women's triple jump final, but it turned out to be her best jump this season, and was also enough to secure Jamaica's second gold medal at the 2010 Commonwealth Games here in Delhi, India.

The golden mark was 14.19 metres.
