DORIAN Scott repeated his feat from Colombia four years ago, claiming gold in the men's shot put, as Jamaica took its medal tally to 18 after claiming one gold, three silver, and one bronze medal at press time on day eight of the 2010 Central American and Caribbean (CAC) Games being held in Guyana and Puerto Rico.
Scott threw 18.92 metres for victory, while teammate Odayne Richards threw a personal best 18.74 for silver in the athletics competition in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico. Scott also won CAC gold in 2006, when he posted a national record 20.34 to win in Cartagena, Colombia.
