Rising Jamaican speedster Dexter Lee confirmed his position as one of the best junior sprinters in the world, with a determined gold-medal run in the 100m finals at the 13th IAAF World Junior Championships in Moncton, Canada last night.
In the process, the former Herbert Morrison Technical star also sprinted his way into the history books, becoming the first athlete to win back-to-back 100m titles at the Championships, posting 10.21 to win ahead of USA's Charles Silmon, 10.23, and France's Jimmy Vicaut, 10.28, in a nail-biting finish.
