« on: June 14, 2010, 12:32:33 AM »
World Junior 100m champion, Dexter Lee, and Sedaith Palmer captured the boys' and girls' Under-20 100m events, respectively, on yesterday's opening day of the two-day National Junior Track and Field Championships at the G.C. Foster College in St Catherine.

Lee, who opted to run professionally last year and is now currently based in Atlanta, United States, won the boys' sprint in a swift 10.20 seconds ahead of Old Harbour's Kemar Bailey-Cole (10.61) and Brando Brady of Camperdown (10.61).

Palmer of Herbert Morrison captured the girls' equivalent in 11.79.
